Christmas 2015

When I think back to where we were last year at this time, I am so grateful for our health, our family and our friends.

Winter is here and we're approaching the shortest day of the year.  Time to curl up with a good book or some quilting.

Time to gather with friends and family to celebrate.

Time for a trip to Minneapolis to see George Winston at Orchestra Hall and enjoy a meal with our son and daughter-in-law.

Time to enjoy the beautiful holiday music and share it with others caroling with hospice friends.

Time to plan for the New Year....
what shall I work on?
Read more, finish UFO's, knit, maybe just be and enjoy life as it comes.

What are your plans for the Holidays and the wonderful New Year to follow?

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Nana

  1. Daniel, Carly & Mabel are driving up from Madison on Christmas Eve and will stay overnight here. Then we are off to Holly & Patrick's for a mid-day feast on Christmas Day. Hopefully my mom will feel good enough to join us. Last I heard, Bob & Kathy are waiting to hear what Jenny & Jason's plans might be. I'll see if I can get mom over there to see them sometime.
Peace & Love to you all,
    Candy & Dave

  2. We finally have snow - not much, but enough to insure a white Christmas. It will be quiet this year with Mom spending the day with us and missing Dad. But the tree is trimmed, cookies made and and Face Time with our Alaska kids...next year they will be back in the midwest for good and we will pull out all the joyful stops! Meanwhile the weeks ahead mean renewed stitching time during the winter..
Christmas Blessings to you and yours.
